Suction Harvesting
Similar to hand harvesting, suction harvesting utilizes specially designed suctioning equipment to remove the biomass. Diver-operated suction harvesting entails the use of barge-mounted pumps and strainer devices with hoses used by divers to "vacuum up" plants uprooted by hand.
