Lake and Pond Evaluations
Prior to developing any lake management plan an aquatic biological survey needs to be conducted to identify the extent and species of aquatic vegetative growth.

Water Quality Studies
For the long term management of a water body, a sampling program designed to test the nutrient input from the tributaries is very important.

Stream Surveys
When a proposed project might impact a stream or river a detailed inventory of the biota should be conducted. The study should include fisheries, plants, benthic organisms as well as water quality and wildlife habitat.

Aquatic Life Studies
As the permitting for lake and pond management becomes increasingly more
involved Lycott has developed protocol to conduct wildlife habitat studies.
These studies are conducted with sophisticated GPS equipment and delineate important natural features used by wildlife.

Fisheries Management
Lycott and our personnel have over 42 years of experience in conducting
fisheries studies and reclamations.

Diagnostic Studies
The development of Diagnostic Feasibility studies was instituted by Lycott in the early 1970’s. These studies involve extensive sampling of the entire water body as well as its inlets and outlets. The results enable the development of hydrology and nutrient budgets which greatly aid in the long-term management of the valuable resource.
